Robert Greenwald’s new flick + Bill Moyers special

I just found out that Robert Greenwald‘s new film, Iraq for Sale, will be screening here in Charleston at the school where I teach. I saw his Outfoxed last month, and liked it, so this might be worth checking out. I’m interested in seeing how it compares to Eugene Jarecki’s Why We Fight (IMDB listing), which is the most moving film I’ve seen so far about the war and a very good documentary in general.

There was quite a lot of fuss a few years back when a screening was set up here for Fahrenheight 9/11 which culminated in a rival screening of Fahrenhype 9/11. So I’m curious to see how this plays out. I haven’t, BTW, seen either film. So I’m not in a position to discuss the objectivity of either.

PBS will be airing a Bill Moyers special tonight called The Net At Risk which will feature some folks from the Save the Internet Coalition. Moyers has written an editorial on the topic (originally for tompaine.com).
