Holidays on Ice

The education biz has a lot of downside, but one undeniable upside is holiday time off. I’ve been away from the net most of the winter break, which doesn’t necessarily mean I’ve been making better use of my time. Here’s a quick rundown of what I’ve been up to the past two weeks:

  • Family
    • Lots of hanging out with family and eating too much great food (note to self: the diet starts again today)
  • Netflix/DVD/Film
    • Blood Diamond (Great stuff. Definately worth your time.)
    • Happy Feet (Even worse than you might suspect.)
    • Little Miss Sunshine (Funny and great on many levels.)
    • CSI: Las Vegas, Season 6 (Been working my way through them. Always solid.)
    • Sopranos: Season 6, Part 1 (Better than most of Season 5.)
  • Books
  • Projects
    • Organized tons of office papers. Got rolling with a new organization scheme.
    • Ripped the rest of my CDs to my iTunes library, adding about two gigs to the total.

I hope the holidays were good to you. I should be back on a more regular basis now that they are over.
