I don’t know how many of you read daringfireball.net, but John has been doing a series called “Jackass of the Week” for a while now. His site is devoted to Apple/Macintosh computers, so the jackasses in question are mostly reporters who bad mouth Apple products without knowing what they’re talking about. But today he nominated Rush Limbaugh “Jackass of the Week” for accusing Michael J. Fox of faking or exaggerating symptoms of his Parkinson’s disease in a political ad supporting stem-cell research.

As one of my aunts died of complications from Parkinson’s, I feel justified it nominating him jackass of the year. There never was a good reason to take such a hateful shill seriously. But anyone who would do so after this is simply, and quite objectively, a fool.
