Christmass was good to me. Among other wonderful things, I got a 20GB iPod. I’m in the process of ripping my CD collection to it. And I keep finding other uses for it. A few sites I noticed today are exploiting the “notes” feature to make it a portable ebook reader (like the doc readers on Palm devices). iamlarge.com is one of the best of these, offering great things like Wittgenstein’s Tractatus and the U.S. Constitution. There’s also a handy (php-driven) webapp that will break up text files into linked notes files for you. I haven’t tried either out yet, but I’m eager to do so.
