They don’t call them “homophobes” for nothing…

Evidently, banning gay marriages isn’t enough in Alabama. Now Representative Gerald Allen wants to ban gay characters in novels or any other work that that’s part of the “homosexual agenda” (at least in public and university libraries). Shouldn’t legislators be required to have read the constitution? Or, at least, the bill of rights. That first item might be problematic (for now). Thanks to sjarvis for emailing me this one.
