I watch too much TV. So I’ve got a new rule for myself: no TV on weekends. I started this weekend and I’ve been surprised how much time I have to do things now that I’m not parked in front of the tube.
Of course, I haven’t ruled out movies or internet surfing. This weekend, Gina and I saw The Bourne Ultimatum at the theater and Pan’s Labyrinth at home. Both were great, for entirely different reasons. The latest Bourne flick fits in nicely with the previous two, which I also enjoyed. I’m not much for action flicks in general, but I love these. I saw Guillermo del Toro‘s amazing horror film, The Devil’s Backbone years ago and loved it. This new film, which some call a “spiritual sequel” to that former one, does not disappoint.
