Lately, The Stingy Scholar has been turning me on to cool things including, most recently, artfaceoff.com. It strikes me as what you get when you combine a voting site (think hotornot.com or kittenwar.com) with a discovery site (think pandora.com or any of the gnod.net sites). So, what you get is way to discover new art and artists while also pitting them against each other. Its part museum stroll, part boxing match.
