The wife and I have been turning off the TV and amusing ourselves of late with board games. We have quite a few. The last two nights, it’s been Othello (my favorite, as it’s the only game I can win against my lovely opponent, who has super-human abilities at all games, it seems) and Master Mind (which is a comedy of errors when I am the code breaker, and an object lesson in the beauty of logic when Gina is).
Doing a little Wiki-research on my fave game turned up this groovy Rails-powered, web-based version: Railthello. I won my first game against it, 34 to 30, but it was a close game and I was behind most of it. And here are a million-jillion online versions of Master Mind. I like this one quite a bit.
Update: Check it out, you can actually watch my game against Railthello. I wasn’t logged in, but I was able to pick it from the replay list by my score. That’s a groovy feature.
