Gina and I (and our dog Josie) took a brief road trip north to visit some friends in Charles Town, West Virginia–named after Charles Washington, the younger brother of George. I resisted the temptation to check my email or surf while I was away from home (hence the lack of posts and even-longer-than-usual email turn-around time). We had a very nice visit. But, at some point, we both managed to come down with colds. So all my plans of last-minute house organizing and such, before I return to work on Monday, are shot. All I’ll manage today is sleep.
