Political discourse isn’t the strong suit here at wheatblog, but I’m fairly open about my biases. I haven’t had a chance to surf all the video clips at internetvetsfortruth.org yet, but I’m looking forward to it. A lot of the clips seem to have a pro-Kerry slant, but that’s where I’m at these days. So be it.
On the state political front, I’m in a quandry about the state senate race between Jim DeMint and Inez Tenenbaum. Following DeMint’s inflamitory remarks about not allowing gay people (or unwed mothers) to be public school teachers, I can’t vote for him. But I’ve also found out that Tenenbaum, though she called DeMint’s comment “un-American” is in favor of a constitutional ammendment against gay marriage. She also thinks invading Iraq was justified (even without the pretext of WMDs). So, to me, she’s a republican in democratic clothing. What to do?
