In the 1980s, using guitars to create MIDI signals (so you can use them to play synthesizers and such) was a very popular idea. I dabbled in this a bit myself, though I rather quickly found it not to be my cup of tea. But what about taking it the other direction: playing an actual guitar via MIDI. I present to you, the Crazy J (via helium-3).
