After a bit more tinkering, I was able to get both the front page of my site (home.php) and today’s blog front page to validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional. With a bit more work, I could get most of the site to work. I didn’t realize I was still running it as HTML 4.01 Transitional! I did have links in this post to the validator, but the W3′s links didn’t pass their own validation test!
