After a bit more tinkering, I was able to get both the front page of my site (home.php) and today’s blog front page to validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional. With a bit more work, I could get most of the site to work. I didn’t realize I was still running it as HTML 4.01 Transitional! [...]

Valid CSS, baby!
So much of my site is an unkept garden. Seeing xlab‘s valid CSS graphic reminded me that it had been a long time since I ran my own CSS files through the wringer. They were in much better shape than I thought. And now they’re all good.
