First run with Piknik

Picnik is a web-based photo-editing application. It powers the photo editing features in Flickr. I’ve been stressed out that a lot of my snapshots are too dark. And I’ve been bothering all my graphic designer friends for their best Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) tricks for making things better. But I decided to give Picknik a try, too. Here’s my first effort. This is the fixed version:

I think you’ll agree that it’s a world of difference. All I did was adjust the exposure and contrast a bit, using the sliders in Picnik.
