Textdrive.com is a web hosting service with some reasonable rates and support for lots of open source languages (like Ruby, Python, PHP) and a variety of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite). I noticed them on del.icio.us. What I like, besides all the options, is the minimalism of their site design, and nice quips like this: “We have no photographs of our CEO strutting past server racks, or of women in telephone headsets ready to take your call, but we hope youll consider joining us all the same.” Really, when was the last time a webhosting site made you laugh?
