“Gonna kick tomorrow…”

One of the most consistent things about me has been my life-long addiction to caffeine, usually in the form of Dr. Pepper. I’ve kicked the habit several times in the past, only to take it back up again. I don’t believe that caffeine is bad for you. I’m not kicking it due to any physical health concerns; I just don’t like the psychological aspect of feeling I have to have something in order to start my day. Well, I’ve been clean for over a week now, and all seems fine. So I’m going to do without it as long as I can. In order to reduce the temptation, I’ve eliminated soda in general from my diet (prefering water, powerade, etc.).
