My cable modem started acting funny Saturday. I tried all the usual stuff. Rebooting wouldn’t fix it. Sometimes it wouldn’t even finish it’s startup sequence. When I got any connectivity at all, it was at a snail’s pace, and I was dropping packets like crazy. I didn’t realize quite how addicted I had become to wireless broadband. You get so used to having a reference library at your fingertips, that is quite hard to function without it. The Comcast guy just left. He set up a new cable modem and things seem fine now.
