how not to redesign: allmusic.com

The beloved music site, allmusic.com (which is to music what imdb.com is to movies), started a storm of controversy yesterday when their new design greeted users of every browser other than IE for Windows with warning messages questioning their browser choice. Many emailed in response, suggesting (rightly) that the problem was with a site design that favors browsers over standards. You can follow the discussion at Waxy.org.
