It’s nice to see that Ron Velosky’s Sight Reading for the Bass is available again (BassPlayer magazine reviewied it this month, as well). Mr. Velosky, before his untimely death, was kind enough to send me a review copy several years ago and I found it to be a wonderfully comprehensive method, easily the best I’d [...]

I was amused to see philosopher Cornel West playing a bit part in The Matrix: Reloaded, which I caught last night. I don’t know much about West, but I found an interview between West and Henry Louis Gates, Jr. that should help.

There are still a few kinks to be worked out, but my new portfolio is almost ready for prime time.

PhpObject from GhostWire claims to let you use PHP to connect your data-driven sites to Flash front-ends. They take the idea from Macromedia’s own Flash Remoting app (which is $999). I’ve gotta check that out as soon as possible.
A silly flash piano I built today to use in a training session this summer. No frills [...]
