Two essential apps to make Windows a little friendlier: ShortPopUp and ChangeIcon (or here). ShortPopUp is an app you put in the quick launch area of your task bar. It works a lot like the “Apple Menu” under older versions of the MacOS, enabling you to create hierarchical menus to quickly launch pretty much anything. Has lots of customization options burried in the readme. ChangeIcon lets you change any icon just by rightclicking and selecting the one you’d like (why have they never built that into the OS?).
Film moment: My favorite documenary director, Errol Morris has a site, done in php.
